Today seen a significant development in my fitness training and of my cycling in particular. I completed the first second run in a week. Which means whilst its only Friday I have indeed hit my target of 3 exercise sessions in a week, all of which lasted 45 minutes plus!! My legs felt tired today and the journey felt slower however and somewhat bizarrely I managed to slice 5 minutes of my time. I must say I just love my bike at the moment which is a thing my butt certainly wouldn’t be heard to say!
I’ve been looking for a book or website which advises on and shares the journey of someone trying a similar project. Surprisingly there are few about but I did come across this one “No More Mr. Fat Guy”. What makes it interesting is that it was written by a guy who used to be 19 stone and was a fitness journalist… How that scenario comes about I don’t know! I’ll let you know what I think of it.
I’ve noticed that I’m less out of breath after climbing the stairs at home… I just love when you experience or notice tangible change, its so affirming!
